Signature Bronze

The result of your tan is dependent on proper prep and aftercare. Please follow our tan prep and aftercare instructions for best results and to avoid tan development issues.

Exfoliate 1-2 times before the session ensuring it's at least 24 hours prior.

Exfoliate ahead using an exfoliating mitt or oil-free body scrub. Any old self/spray tan should be removed

Shaving and waxing MUST be done 24hrs+ prior to your appointment. Shaving and waxing day of will result in a streaky, discolored result + runs the risk of skin irritation from potential nicks/cuts

Your tan is your last stop! All other beauty services MUST be done 24hrs+ prior to your tan (mani/pedi, facial etc) If you were unable to get your nails done prior to your tan, just a polish change is recommended. You do not want to be soaking/scrubbing/rubbing your fresh spray tan!

Your skin must be free of deodorant, lotion, makeup, perfume etc. Do not use lotions, oil-based exfoliating products, gels or waxing/shaving creams on the day of the appointment.

We do not recommend showering the day of your appointment. Showering alters your skin's pH and runs the risk of product residue staying on your skin preventing the solution from adhering and developing properly. If you absolutely need to (ex. sweat from a workout), just a quick water only rinse 4+ hours before your appointment.

LONG: Wear long clothing to protect your tan while you're processing. This ensures it won't rub off on your seat/seat belt in the car + prevent any skin-to-skin transfer. Yes, even when it’s hot out you still want to wear long clothes. NO SHORTS, please!

LOOSE: Avoid anything tight! NO JEANS, LEGGINGS, BRAS, SOCKS/SNEAKERS etc. Tight clothing will rub off the solution causing a discolored result. Wear open toe sandals/flip flops

DARK: Fresh tans have the possibility of transferring onto your clothing. Our solutions are water soluble and will rinse out of most clothing however, we still suggest wearing something dark (preferably black)

Prior to your first rinse: avoid sweating, getting wet (no washing hands), and touching your skin

Wait the recommended time to shower:

Using just your hands and water, gently wipe the bronzer off your skin until the water runs clear. If you are experiencing "streaking" there may be remaining bronzer, give it another rinse

You will see little to no color after all the bronzer is off, your tan will take 24 hours to fully develop

MOISTURIZE: Moisturize 1-2x daily using a spray tan friendly lotion

SHAVING: Shaving exfoliates the skin and may compromise your sunless color. Use a new razor and be super gentle

Limit your time in the water - chlorine and saltwater are very drying. Always rinse off afterwards and gently pat dry with your towel, no rubbing! Avoid hot tubs, steam rooms + long, hot showers and baths.

Your tan does not contain sunscreen and will not protect you from the sun. Lather up with a spray tan friendly sunscreen, avoid aerosol and oil based.
